The YMCA of Central East Ontario Belleville Branch is looking for qualified Kids Club Supervisors. These candidates will be working with children 3.8-12 years of age in a licensed before and after school setting. Supervisors of our Kids Club programs are responsible for promoting physical activity, maintaining licensing requirements, and building relationships with families and school personnel. All candidates will have strong commitment to organization, values, flexibility and team work.
Education/Qualifications
- R.E.C.E or Equivalent
- Satisfactory Criminal Reference check including Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Current First Aid and CPR Level “C”
- Up to date immunizations

YMCA Summer Camp Leader
Job Summary
Day camps are about fun, friends and learning new skills. Each week has a new and exciting theme, includes an offsite trip to a local attraction, and daily swimming. Summer Camp Leaders will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the children, planning and the facilitation of activities and games while maintaining a fun environment for all and building positive relationships. Youth ages range from 4 to 13 years old. All candidates will have a strong commitment to organization, values, flexibility and team work.
Requirements
- Interest in, and experience, working with children and youth ages 4-13 years old
- Willingness to learn and to facilitate large groups of children
- Available Monday to Friday 7:30am-6:00pm
- Attendance at the three day training, taking place end of June
- A clear and current Criminal Reference Check
- Current CPR “C” and First Aid
- Understand and abide by the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility
